A Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) device is a machine that delivers a passive range of motion to the patient’s joint. The CPM device is proven to reduce pain, stiffness, and swelling.
Your physician will write orders instructing you on how to use the device each day and how much to increase your range of motion. Your doctor is the only one to discharge you from your CPM device.
CPM devices and knee braces fall under your major medical policy, DME rentals/purchases. Each insurance is different and is subject to co-pays and deductibles. We will let you know your financial responsibility in writing and estimate your out of pocket expense.
